Founder & Managing Director

With over 22 years in the MICE industry, Michelle began her career soon after graduating top of her class in Public Relations.  She started as an Account Manager at a leading incentive house, gaining valuable international experience managing global incentive programs.

Throughout her career, she has collaborated with top Destination Management Companies (DMC’s) and worked for Professional Conference Organisers (PCO’s) where she gained her experience in the large event / association conference landscape. Her portfolio also spans numerous association partnerships across diverse industries.

A natural connector and passionate advocate for collaboration, Michelle believes success is built through teamwork and strong relationships.

She actively contributes to the industry as a member of the Western Cape committee of SAACI (South African Association for the Conference Industry).

Meet Melanie

Executive Assistant

As an accomplished administrative and events professional with over a decade of experience supporting organisations across education, nonprofit, corporate and community environments, Melanie has a strong foundation in office management, facilities coordination, and CRM/database administration.  She excels at creating organised, efficient systems that keep teams running smoothly and stakeholders well supported.

Her background includes planning and executing high-impact events, managing enrolment and compliance processes, leading volunteer teams, and strengthening donor and stakeholder relationships.  Known for her clear communication and meticulous attention to detail, Melanie brings structure, warmth and professionalism to the growing MICE Team.

With a marketing qualification and extensive hands-on operational expertise, she is passionate about building positive experiences—whether coordinating events, managing people and processes, or supporting organisational growth through excellent administration.

Conference Support Team

Where possible, MICE Management involves young aspiring talent as part of our Conference Support Team onsite.  These bright, enthusiastic individuals assist our core event management team during conferences, providing on-the-ground support with registration, delegate services, speaker assistance, and session set up and co-ordination.

This ensures event operations run smoothly but also offers valuable hands-on experience in the meetings and events industry. Under the guidance of our professional team, they gain practical exposure to conference logistics, stakeholder engagement, and professional communication—while contributing fresh energy and a welcoming presence to every event.
